Esben has worked with structural policy extensively and he has great insight into employment, education and fiscal policy, among other things.
Furthermore, Esben has tremendous knowledge of applied econometrics and has many years of experience in conducting analyses based on Danish register data. Throughout his career, Esben has evolved to be one of the leading experts in quantitative impact measurements. Likewise, Esben has extensive experience in conducting socio-economic analyses.
From an academic point of view, Esben is driven by an ambition to contribute to political decisions that rest on a sound academic foundation.
Esben has previously worked in the Secretariat of the Danish Economic Councils and the think-tank Kraka and has also taught applied econometrics for the Economic Institute at CBS. Finally, Esben’s research has been published in several internationally acclaimed journals, including the Quarterly Journal of Economics.
